Whitney Hampton

Whitney Hampton has worked in U.S. Bank's Environmental Finance group since 2015. U.S. Bank is one of the most active tax equity investors in the space, having invested nearly $14B to date to support the development of over 16.9 gigawatts of renewable energy. In her current role as a Vice President on the Business Development team, Ms. Hampton is responsible for originating renewable energy investment opportunities across the country. In her former role as a Senior Project Manager, she closed or assisted in the closing of $2.5B of tax equity investments spanning over 200 solar and wind projects with an aggregate capacity of 3.3 gigawatts.
Prior to joining U.S. Bank, Ms. Hampton served as a staff attorney for the Missouri Public Service Commission. She earned a B.A. cum laude in Political Science from Missouri State University in 2012 and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2018. She is currently an active member of the Missouri State Bar.
