Brian Barton

Brian Barton is the Senior Vice President of Operations at MC Power Companies, a Lee’s Summit-based general contractor and full service solar provider. MC Power Companies has a long history of providing general construction and electrical services to commercial, industrial, municipal, institutional and agricultural clients. Their highly-skilled electricians provide an array of services that include electrical design-build expertise, new construction, LED lighting retrofit, ground testing, cable fault locating, power analysis and emergency backup and generation systems. Solar MC Power offers business and property owners a turnkey solution for their energy needs – from facility assessment, design, engineering, installation and maintenance. To date, the firm has completed solar projects across the US that range in size from 6kW to 3.10 MW with clients on the fortune 500 list.

Mr. Barton’s primary role is managing the day-to-day operations, overseeing engineering, due diligence, project management, and field staff. Brian has held various operations management positions over the last 10 years with a focus on employee safety, development, and training and has experience with streamlining processes utilizing Lean Six Sigma training.

Over the last eight years Mr. Barton has held leadership positions in various industries, sitting on boards for the Missouri Solar Energy Industries Association (MOSEIA), Missouri Association of Manufactures and Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
