JOSH CAMPBELL, JD
Executive Director
Josh Campbell has more than twenty years of experience building and managing grassroots campaigns and non-profit organizations. Josh has developed many successful diverse statewide coalitions within the energy, healthcare, environmental, conservation, labor community and social justice communities. Josh has worked with all levels of state government on a variety of legislative and regulatory issues. Josh’s experience demonstrates the capacity and interest in strategic planning and problem solving. Josh received his B.A from Saint Louis University in Political Science and Communications. Licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri, Josh received his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
TRAVIS WOOD
Policy & Program Manager
Travis Wood is an experienced researcher with a demonstrated history of working in both the private and non-profit sectors, with skills ranging from policy and data analysis to program coordination and evaluation. He served as MEI’s Public Policy Intern in 2016, researching utility regulatory processes in relation to the changing energy landscape. Travis received B.S. degrees in Zoology and Conservation Biology from the University of Wisconsin, his Master of Science in Environmental Sciences from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and his Master of Public Policy Administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
EMMI WEINER
Marketing and Operations Administrator
Emmi Weiner is a marketing and development professional with a decade’s worth of international experience with a variety of nonprofit and private organizations, focusing on fundraising, DEI, consumer relations, and event planning and production. While most of her experience is within tourism, arts and hospitality, her diverse skill set and experience informs her unique, effective work style. She has a passion for dogs and is highly involved in the local dog rescue community. Emmi hold a Bachelor of Journalism in Strategic Communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia with minors in Sociology and History and a Multicultural Certificate.
PATRICE MATTHEWS
PACE Manager
For the last 10 years, Patrice has worked in politics as a community organizer, campaign strategist, and project manager for state legislators in multiple states. She has expertise in community engagement, program operations, and program management. She has worked to cultivate relationships while collaborating with community partners, leaders, and other stakeholders. Patrice received her B.S. from the University of South Carolina in Public Health. In her free time, she enjoys reading way too many books and spending time with her family. Her family has lived all over the country and in Germany. They are now calling St. Louis, Missouri home.
